  22. PAP stands for Password Authentication Protocol. The latest release of
  23. ppp.device supports both PAP and CHRP passwords in the shareware version,
  24. and has its own dialer. It's well worth the $15 Holger asks for the full
  25. version, too, if you have a desire to PPP.
